– EFT Practitioner
Dona’s personal experience with postpartum depression after the birth of her first child several years ago led her to become a practitioner of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
EFT involves tapping on meridian points while restructuring cognitive behaviour. This sends a signal to the amygdala to calm the ‘fight or flight’ response, which in turn helps the brain calm down. A renewed sense of relaxation and clarity can bring healing to mental and physical imbalances and is particularly effective for anxiety, depression, PTSD, pain, and phobias.
A session with Dona will focus on energetically unblocking negative emotions stuck in the body. In particular, she specialises in treating anxiety, grief, childhood trauma and parenting stress.
Sessions are offered in English and Cantonese.
