Yi Li is a registered physiotherapist graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has started his career in public hospital where he has gained valuable experience in managing a wide variety of conditions including acute and chronic injuries, neurological rehabilitation (Post-stroke rehab and Parkinson’s disease), post-operative care and rehabilitation for many types of pain disorders including ACL reconstructive surgery rehabilitation.
Yi Li then further his skills by completing Certified DMA (MBCT) Clinical Pilates education, Osteopathic Spinal Manipulation Therapy by OMT Training UK, Kinesio Taping Practitioner course (KAI) and Clinical Application of Acupuncture Course in Hong Kong.
He is a strong advocate of movement and exercise being the key to success not only in rehabilitation but also in maximizing performance and injury prevention.
Yi Li’s treatment approach is focused on catering to the specific individual and creates a program that aims to tackle their pains, deficits and enhance performance. He incorporates a holistic treatment approach with manual therapy, acupuncture, taping and functional exercises.
As an exercise lover himself, Yi Li strives to help his clients fulfill their sport and fitness goals by working hand-in-hand and enjoying the rehabilitation process together. When not in clinic, he enjoys weight lifting, diving, table tennis, squash and, of course, a refreshing glass of G&T.
Being Singaporean, Yi Li is fluent in three languages: English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
