How flexible is your ankle? This is what normal movement looks like.
If you have limited ankle movement you could have a restricted subtalar joint.
Some contributing reasons can be if you land hard on your foot when jumping, wear high heeled shoes frequently or twist your ankle.
If you have lost the full range of movement, it makes your strides shorter leading to other issues such as decreased hip range of motion.
